Student found dead hanging from ceiling in Islamabad hostel

The identity of the student has been released by the police as Muhammad Hassan and it has been reported that he belonged from Lahore and was staying in a hostel in Islamabad to pursue his engineering degree from this city.
Hassan was doing his engineering degree from government-run university called Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS) Nilore.
No one really knows why Hassan decided to take his own life but police are investigating his friends and teachers to find out the reasons. It was reported that the student had hanged himself from an iron rack which was fixed in the wall using a rope and the body appeared to be two or three days old.
According to the reports provided by other students, the dorm room where Hassan lived had been locked since Friday and no one really bothered to go to his room. Then on Monday, a very strong stench was emanating from his room upon which other hostelites informed the administration. When the door was opened, Hassan’s body was found hanging inside and a very strong smell was coming from it.
Hassan was 27-years-old and he belonged from Lahore. He had received a scholarship and was enrolled in the MS Systems Engineering programme at the PIEAS since November 2016.
The student’s body has been sent for an autopsy whereas his family has been informed of this unfortunate incident.
