Problem getting married? Careem will help with its Rishta aunty services

Careem is not only a ride-hailing service, it is also the solution to you marriage problems! In a recent bid to increase its marketability, the service has announced that it will provide you with an opportunity to interact with a rishta aunty or someone who links people for marriage.

When people woke up on Wednesday morning, they were surprised to find a message on their phones which read ‘Your rishta has arrived’. This was accompanied by an email explaining what Careem was offering to its customers.

The email further read, ‘Bas kar forever alone ka naara, ab status hoga ‘taken’ tumhara.’ With this, they added scribing, Careem offers you the ‘Halal’ way to find the right person. Have a rishta aunty accompany you during your ride.’

What users have to do in order to get these services is to open their Careem app and select ‘Rishta Aunty’ car type and make a ‘later’ booking. The campaign will run for two days on 19 and 20 July. If you have selected this service, when the car arrives, there will be an aunty waiting for you, ready with her resources to hook you up with a perfect match. What’s surprising is, that it won’t cost you an extra penny!

This tactic had mixed reviews from the customers, with many making fun of Careem’s new venture. However, the real test will be that how many people actually book the rishta-aunty car type on the day of the service.
