Details of Lahore suicide bombing revealed

According to details, a First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against three unidentified persons for the bombing. The FIR is based on the fact that a 16-years-old boy bid farewell to two people before he approached his target where he detonated the bomb.
It appears that the suicide bomber had targeted security personnel as he approached policemen who were resting under the shade of a tree on a hot afternoon.
According to further details provided, the suicide bomber had come from Gajju Matta town to the site of the attack-Kot Lakhpat Sabzi Mandi, in a rickshaw. Earlier it had been said that the suicide bomber had come on a motorbike but investigations have revealed that all the motorbikes which were destroyed in the blast belonged to the victims.
The suicide bombers limbs have been recovered from the site and DNA tests are being conducted to further investigate his identity. The investigators are trying to identify the bomber and his accomplices so that they can identify their movement.
The attack which took place yesterday afternoon on Lahore’s busy Ferozepur road has claimed 26 lives, out of which nine were policemen. Out of all the injured people, 35 are under treatment at General Hospital, 13 in Jinnah Hospital, five at Ittefaq Hospital and one at Services Hospital.
The area surrounding the blast site has been cordoned off but Ferozepur Road has been reopened for regular traffic.
