Ranbir Kapoor clears air regarding dating Mahira Khan

Ever since Ranbir Kapoor and Mahira Khan met at the Global Teacher Prize awards held in Dubai this year, rumors were strife that the two shared more than a casual friendship. Several publications in India had hinted at the possibility of the couple dating, but now it appears that those were just rumors.
In a recent interview, Ranbir finally addressed those rumors and quashed them by saying that he is not seeing anyone at the moment.
”I have never been single in my life. Since the age seven, I have always been in a relationship.”
He also admitted that he is always linked up to his co-stars or fellow Bollywood actresses and he’s used to it. As a celebrity, he only gets to talk to people from the industry so he isn’t surprised with the rumors.
“This is the first time I am single and it’s amazing. You have a lot of time for yourself. I’m not meeting anybody. The only people you meet are the film industry people and eventually, the only people you start talking to are actors.”
Ranbir and Mahira have never worked together in a film but they have a common friend, Fawad Khan. Fawad has known Mahira since their Humsafar days and the two men worked together on the movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
It appears that because of this common friendship, Ranbir and Mahira were already acquainted. Then when the two met at the Global Teacher Prize, they hit it off really well and were pictured talking and laughing together.
In one of his interviews, Ranbir was asked whom he thought were some of the most beautiful women and he reportedly named Mahira Khan along with Gal Gadot.
When the actor was asked whether he was tired with all the rumors about him dating Mahira Khan, he said that he wasn’t but at the same time maintained that he is single at the moment.
