Things end between boxer Amir Khan and Faryal Makhdoom after ugly Twitter fight

Boxer Amir Khan and his former wife Faryal Makhdoom have been in the news over the past year for one reason or the other. However, this time around, the two have made headlines for a bitter fight between them and their eventual split.

Last week a bitter fight erupted between the two and the entire world got to witness it since they took to Twitter to accuse each other of cheating, lying and being after money. In a series of tweets, Khan accused Makhdoom of having an affair with heavy weight champion Anthony Joshua. However, this claim was rebuked by his wife and she accused him of being the one who always cheats on her.

After things got ugly, Makhdoom claimed that their accounts had been hacked. However, shortly after that Khan posted a video in which he said that their accounts were never hacked and that him and Makhdoom were splitting up.

According to reports, Makhdoom had tried to patch things up with her husband and that is why she made up the story of their accounts being hacked .A news source cited a friend saying that Makhdoom’s family contacted Khan’s family to encourage both of them to patch things up for their three-year-old daughter Lamaisah.

However, Khan was in no mood for reconciliation and he called out his former wife’s lie out in public.

Since then Khan has spoken to media once, saying that he was not able to sleep the entire night when the fiasco took place.

Meanwhile Makhdoom posted a picture of herself on Instagram captioned ‘Keep your head high’.
