Karachi police baffled over the mysterious killing of three men
Tuesday, August 22nd, 2017 9:50:07 by fatimaarshadFour days ago, a police volunteer was shot dead on the Northern Bypass, and yesterday, three unidentified men’s bodies were found on the same spot. What is making this entire thing more mysterious is that pamphlets were found on their bodies which claimed that their killing was a form of revenge for the Police Qaumi Razakar’s (PQR) death.
According to the details provided by the police, the bodies were discovered at 7 am, and the pamphlets found bore the name of the newly formed militant outfit called Ansarul Sharia Pakistan (ASP). The pamphlet claimed responsibility for the death of those three men and also contained a warning for the ‘terrorists’ that if they continued to kill the policemen or police volunteers at the command of intelligence agencies of countries hostile to Pakistan, then not only the ‘terrorists’ but also their families would be targeted.
It was also written in the pamphlet that those who targeted the security personnel of the country, had sold their ‘faith’ to non-believers and the forces of foreign countries. They were ‘misusing’ the name of ‘jihadi organization’s for furthering their ‘un-Islamic motives’, it added.
SITE Superhighway Industrial police SHO Anar Khan told reporters that the bodies were found at the exact same place where PQR Rana Jamshed was killed four days ago while he was going home after performing his duties.
The identities of the victims are still not known but they all had long, black bears and they appeared to be in their mid-30s.
On Monday evening, the police registered an FIR under Sections 302 (murder) and 34 (common intention) of the Pakistan Penal Code against unknown suspects on behalf of the state.
