Faryal Makhdoom shocks the world by announcing news of pregnancy

Boxer Amir Khan and Faryal Makhdoom have been the talk of the town for the past few months due to their very public Twitter spat which took place last month. After that fight, Amir Khan had announced that they had split and he would be divorcing his wife.

However, things settled down and now it appears that there has been a complete shift in scenario as Makhdoom has announced that she is expecting her second child. Faryal made the pregnancy announcement on her social media accounts, saying she had been ‘blessed with baby number 2’.

She also shared her happy news with her followers on Snapchat, with a blank image and a caption saying: “I’ve been waiting to announce something very special …. Alhumdulilah, I am pregnant with my second child.

“Time for me to get fat and chunkayyyy.”

Faryal also posted a video of their three-year-old daughter Lamaisah, touching her own stomach as she asks her: “You have a baby in your tummy?” before the little girl replies: “Yeah, mummy’s tummy.”

As expected, the social media burst into a storm of reactions as soon as the news was announced. Some people questioned the paternity of the child while the majority came out in support of Makhdoom and lashed at her haters.

It has been learnt that the problem between the couple started when Khan read an alleged conversation between his wife and boxer Anthony Joshua. He lashed out against her on Twitter and the private fight became a public spectacle.

The couple also turned to a spiritual leader in a bid to save their marriage.
