Clooneys not likely to expand family further
Thursday, September 7th, 2017 11:51:04 by fatimaarshadWhile the world might do good with more of Clooney genes, it is unlikely that George and Amal Clooney will have more kids. The couple welcomed twins earlier this year and even though they have become quite good in the art of raising kids, they won’t be expanding their family further.
George Clooney, 56, and his lawyer and activist wife Amal Clooney, recently spoke about their life with kids in an interview with Hollywood Reporter. The interview which was published on Wednesday shows a fatherly side of George and he also talks about how he is becoming ‘a very good diaper guy’.
George and Amal welcomed their twins in June in London, and they named Alexander and Ella. The actor also talked about the pressures of being a first-time father at this age and how it has changed his perspective about many things.
When Amal was asked if she wanted to have more children, her response was in the negative. “I‘m 39,” Amal Clooney said. “I already had them quite late.”
During their pregnancy, the Clooneys kept a low profile and even though they are a famous celebrity couple, they still try to keep their kids out of the limelight.
“The first thing you think is, ‘I hope I don’t screw this up,’” Clooney said while talking about fatherhood.
“But you are really responsible for two kids. I want them to be happy. I want them to have a sense of humour. I want them to be interested in things. I want them to be compassionate about other people’s plights. Because that’s the thing, you know? You have to have some sort of empathy.”
He also added, “But I‘m a very good diaper guy, which I didn’t know I would be.”
