Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner dies at 91
Thursday, September 28th, 2017 10:57:55 by fatimaarshadHugh Hefner is known to be a pioneer in brining sexual revolution in the print media as he founded groundbreaking men’s magazine called Playboy. Later, he built his business enterprise around the same magazine and became a billionaire.
Playboy Enterprise released a statement detailing how the mogul passed away peacefully at the age of 91 at his home.
Hefner was known for his oversized sex appetite and he kept many young blondes at his legendary Playboy Mansion. In a TV reality show called ‘The Girls Next Door’, Hefner’s libertine and extravagant life was captured and the show aired from 2005 till 2010.
Even at the age of 80, Hefner had a very healthy sex-drive and he credited impotency-fighting drug Viagra, for it. “I’m never going to grow up,” Hefner said in a CNN interview when he was 82. “Staying young is what it is all about for me. Holding on to the boy and long ago I decided that age really didn’t matter and as long as the ladies … feel the same way, that’s fine with me.”
Hefner said that his repressed lifestyle as a young kid is what led to him being so out-there when he grew up. The life-long wish for a place where love flowed freely is what led to the creation of the multi-billion Playboy enterprise.
Hefner married thrice and had four children-three boys and a girl. His most recent marriage was in 2012, at the age of 86, when he married Crystal Harris who was 60 years younger than him.
