Indian wife hacks off drunk husband’s genitals when he tries to rape her in front of children

An Indian woman chopped off her drunk husband’s manhood when he tried to rape her in front of their children. The incident took place in Jammikunta, which is a town in the Karimnagar district of India’s Telangana state.

According to the details of the incident provided, the husband, identified as Ravinder, came home during lunchtime after a binge drinking session. He began to grope his wife in front of the children who were present in the house, and when she tried to stop him, he forced himself on her.

Not being able to bear this, the wife went to the kitchen and brought a sharp knife. She then sliced off his genitals, while he screamed from the pain.

Ravinder was immediately taken to the hospital and he is reported to be recovering in hospital. It is not clear whether the doctors were able to reattach his penis.

The local police also confirmed the incident and told reporters that the woman’s story corroborated with the neighbor’s accounts.

“Neighbours have told us that the couple often fought whenever Ravinder came home drunk,” he added.

“Unable to bear the harassment, she took a knife and chopped off his penis. We have filed a case under section 307 of IPC (attempt to murder) against the woman.”

The official said Ravinder was being treated at a government hospital in Jammikunta.

Meanwhile the wife remains defiant and believes that what she did was right and in self-defense. It is not clear yet whether rape charges have been filed against the husband.
