Hania Aamir draws ire for pestering male passenger on flight

Hania Aamir has risen to fame in a really short span of time. In a short while, she has been able to bag a number of projects including Janaan and Na Maaloom Afraad 2. However, it seems that all the attention seems to have gotten to her head as she used her star privilege to pester a male while on-board a flight to Lahore.

The incident took place when Hania was on her way to Lahore for a promotional event. As the starlet is very active on social media, she was posting pictures of herself on Snapchat as she often does.

However in one particular snap, Hania is seen trying to include an unknown male passenger seated behind her in the frame of her camera.

“This dude is struggling to get out of my photo,” reads the caption of the snap.

“Every time I try and take my photo, he’s, like, struggling to get out of it. Wait, let’s see!” The actor then poses and brings the man in the frame, although he is visibly uncomfortable and trying to stay out of it.

He then averts his eyes and Hania goes on to say, “Okay, I’m gonna wait. Come on, do it.” And right on cue, the man uneasily turns his gaze again.

While Hania might have just been doing this for the sake of fun, the social media did not take well to this move and reactions started pouring in after the video was posted.

One Twitter user pointed out that the actress is clearly harassing the passenger; “Why is no one talking about this? She is violating his personal space and clearly, he’s uncomfortable being in her pictures but instead of stopping, she’s enjoying and making fun of it. THIS IS NOT OKAY.”

Unsurprisingly, it wasn’t long before word caught on and many other users came forth and agreed with him. “Imagine if this was done by a man and the one in the back was a girl… just imagine” wrote a user named Muhammad Ibrahim.

“The same scenario in role reversal won’t be that fun, ma’am. Or if he’s at your seat and you’re at his, you will call it harassment,” wrote Hina Safdarr.

So far Hania herself has not responded to these messages.
