Another actress accuses Harvey Weinstein of rape

It appears that the rape and sexual misconduct allegations against Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein are just never ending as another actress has come forward claiming that he raped her.
According to reports, the actress preferred to be unnamed and she has filed a lawsuit against the producer, alleging that he raped her in his room at a Beverly Hills hotel last year. The actress has been identified as Jane Doe in the complaint and she is one of more than 100 women who have accused Weinstein of sexual misconduct ranging from harassment to rape.
According to a source, Weinstein’s representatives have denied these latest allegations, claiming that the act was consensual. The producer’s team has termed all the accusations that he has faced in recent weeks as consensual sexual acts.
In the suit — filed against both Weinstein and the Weinstein Company — the woman says she met the now infamous film mogul at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills in late 2015 to discuss being cast in the Netflix series Marco Polo. However, once she got there, the producer said he wanted to perform sexual acts in front of her. When the actress refused, he grasped her wrist with one hand and carried out his desire.
It is further stated in the lawsuit that in the spring of the following year, Weinstein contacted her again as if nothing had happened, making her believe that she had been cast in Marco Polo.
He invited her again to meet him at the Montage Hotel to celebrate and she agreed, thinking that this time things might be different. However, once she got, there he again forced himself on her.
The actress, who is represented by attorney Gloria Allred, is seeking compensation and damages, claiming sexual battery, assault, and negligence, according to Variety.
