Enrique Iglesias, Anna Kournikova welcome twins

Singer Enrique Iglesias and his longtime girlfriend and former tennis star Anna Kournikova recently welcomed twins into the world. The pair have kept their affair private for such a long time, that no one even knew that Anna was expecting and the news of the babies’ arrival took everyone by surprise.

It was reported that the Anna and Enrique became proud parents of a boy and girl, named Nicholas and Lucy. They were born over the weekend in Miami, Florida. The pair did not even announce the arrival of their children and the news was released by a close source.

On the same day as the arrival of the twins, Anna posted three pictures on Instagram riding on a boat and wearing an oversized jacket from Iglesias’ tour. Even her social profiles don’t even hint at a pregnancy or the birth of her children.

The couple have been dating for the past 16 years, but they have always remained very private about their relationship. They were not even photographed together for the past one year.

Enrique and Anna began dating in 2001 after meeting on the set of the singer’s Escape music video in which the tennis star appeared.

Last year Anna sparked marriage speculation when she began sporting a large diamond ring and an infinity band on her wedding finger. However, all marriage speculations were put to rest by Enrique during an interview this summer for a magazine in which he clearly said that the two don’t have any plans to get married.

Enrique claimed they already live the life of a married couple in many ways.

He told The Sun newspaper, “We’re just as happy. There comes a point when you’ve been with someone for a certain amount of time that I believe that you are like, married. I guess the only difference is that we haven’t walked down the aisle.”
