Pakistani worker stabs Indian supervisor to death after being denied leave

The worker was a technician at a company in Dubai’s Jebel Ai industrial area, who wanted to go back to Pakistan to meet his family. However, his supervisor who was an Indian, denied his leave due to which the worker became infuriated.
The accused is 25-years-old who is now facing charges of pre-meditated murder for allegedly killing his senior. It was reported that the suspected had put up a request for leave in August, which was denied.
The worker tried to talk to his boss but he was never given a chance. When he at last got hold of his boss, he had a heated discussion with him. Things got out of hand and the suspect reportedly stabbed his boss multiple times, killing him on the spot.
He also tried to attack another co-worker but he was overpowered by him. Eventually the suspect was handed over to the police and has been in custody since then.
When the suspect was summoned before the court, he pleaded ‘not guilty’ to the murder charges against him. . “No, I did not,” the suspect was quoted as telling the presiding judge Fahd Al Shamsi at the Dubai Court of First Instance.
A police brigadier told prosecutors. “A witness, who was interrogated at the crime scene, alleged that the suspect had had hidden the knife it in his dress.”
“When we arrived at the crime scene, the co-worker had restrained the suspect, whose hands and clothes were covered in blood,” the brigadier prosecutors,” he added.
The case has been adjourned on January 14 until the court appoints a lawyer to defend the suspect.
